Doug - Thanks! Yes, this is intended to complement the book (and keep
you informed as SimpleDB evolves beyond the book going to print)...we
are still heavy in the writing process right now, so we haven't had a
chance to put much up on the blog yet...but very soon I promise we'll
kick the action up around here so stay tuned!

In the meantime, if you have any specific questions or are looking for
any specific details on SimpleDB please feel free to email me directly

I have preordered the simpledb book. Is this website intended to complement the book? (As in discussion forums and whatnot)

Thanks! Yeah we have an entire chapter devoted to the various open source projects (and we mention them throughout different spots of the book too)...I'll def. check yours out and do my best to get it included in the book somewhere.
